- Liquor Ratio: A liquor ratio of 1:10 to 1:15 is commonly used to ensure adequate bath volume for effective softening.
- Temperature and Time: The process is usually carried out at temperatures between 40°C and 50°C for about 30 minutes to allow for thorough diffusion of the softener onto the fibers.
