The regeneration phase in a PSA cycle is equally important. When the CMS bed becomes saturated with oxygen, the pressure is reduced. This pressure drop causes the CMS to release the adsorbed oxygen molecules, regenerating the adsorbent material for the next adsorption cycle. The ability of CMS to rapidly adsorb and desorb gases without significant degradation over thousands of cycles is a testament to its advanced engineering.
