Step 1: Gather Your Supplies

Secure a wick sticker to the bottom of your wick and center it in your container. You can also use a wick centering tool to keep it upright while the wax sets.
Step 3: Melt Your Wax
Melt your chosen wax in a pouring pot according to the manufacturer's instructions, using a double boiler method. Monitor the temperature with your thermometer. Aim for the recommended fragrance addition temperature, typically between 180-200°F (82-93°C).
Step 4: Add Your Fragrance Oil
Once the wax reaches the optimal temperature, remove it from the heat and carefully measure your candle making fragrance oil. A common starting point is 6-10% fragrance load, meaning 1 oz of fragrance oil per pound of wax. Stir gently but thoroughly for about 2 minutes to ensure the fragrance oil binds properly with the wax. Step 5: Pour Your Candles
