Our Cationic Cold Water Softener Flakes are presented as light yellow flakes with a cationic ionicity. A typical 6-10% solution exhibits a pH value between 4.5 and 6.5, providing a stable and effective medium for treatment.

The dissolving method for cold water involves gradually adding the flakes to 30°C water at a proportion of 6-10% while stirring for 3-5 minutes to disperse. The mixture is then left to stand for 1-2 hours before being slowly stirred into a paste, ready for use. For operations where warm water is preferred, the flakes can be added to room temperature water (6-10%), stirred, heated to 50-60°C, and stirred slowly for 30-60 minutes into a paste, then cooled.

Usage methods are flexible, accommodating both padding and dipping processes. For padding, a typical dosage is 20-30g/L of a 10% solution at a temperature of 30-40°C, using either a one-dip-one-pad or two-dip-two-pad technology. In dipping applications, a dosage of 3-8% (o.w.f) of a 10% solution is recommended, with a temperature range of 40-50°C, a liquor ratio of 1:10-15, and a treatment time of 30 minutes.
