Optical Brightener CXT operates on a fundamental principle of photoluminescence. Its molecular structure is designed to absorb electromagnetic radiation in the ultraviolet (UV) spectrum, typically between 340-380 nm. Upon absorbing this UV energy, the molecule becomes excited and subsequently emits visible light, predominantly in the blue range of the spectrum (around 430-440 nm). This emitted blue light interacts with the surface it's applied to. Most materials naturally absorb some blue light, making them appear slightly yellow. The blue light emitted by CXT compensates for this blue light absorption, effectively cancelling out the yellow cast and making the material appear whiter and brighter to the human eye.
